Quote: A colorful picture book about Mr. Renny, an artist who suddenly finds his paintings coming to life.
Synopsis: Mr. Renny’s paintings are so good that they almost appear real. But no one seems to pay them any attention—until a strange man offers to make everything that Mr. Renny paints come to life.

First there’s the painting of the apple, which Mr. Renny can now eat. Then there’s a huge hotdog, a new car, a cruise liner...

We Love Leo Timmers! -

Greet    Fri Aug 10, 2012

The kids and I absolutely adore Leo Timmers' latest book , which is not only a fable about greed, but also an art history lesson about the famous Belgian surrealist painter René Magritte ('This is not a pipe') and a feast of bright colours. This book is definitely a winner!
