Kathrin Schärer
Kathrin Schärer was born in Basel in 1969 and qualified as a teacher of art and handicrafts at the Basel Academy of Art and Design. She teaches at a school for children with speech defects in addition to working as a freelance illustrator. She has illustrated many texts of her own and over a period of many years she has also illustrated Lorenz Pauli’s stories to great acclaim.
